PdCu membrane integration and lifetime in the production of hydrogen from methane

► Thin and selective PdCu membranes were prepared. ► PdCu membranes were integrated in hydrogen production and purification process. ► The optimum sweep gas flow in the membrane module was calculated. ► Mixture components did not strongly affect membranes behavior. ► Around 60-67% of the diluted hydrogen fed to the membrane was recovered.
