Evidence for space charge effects in Y-doped BaZrO3 from reduction experiments

▶ Grain boundaries in Y-BaZrO3 become nonblocking after strong reduction treatment. ▶ Supports validity of space charge model (positive gb core) for BaZrO3 grain boundary. ▶ Strategies for diminishing grain boundary resistance for protons are outlined briefly.
