Synthesis, structure and catalase activity of three new manganese(III) complexes with a N,N,O donor Schiff-base ligand

Three new monomeric manganese(III) complexes of a N,N,O donor Schiff-base ligand with different anionic co-ligands have been synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. All of the complexes posses catalase activity i.e. they catalyze the disproportionation of hydrogen peroxide into water and dioxygen.
