Nd(III) and Dy(III) coordination compounds based on 1H-tetrazolate-5-acetic acid ligands: Synthesis, crystal structures and catalytic properties

► we have reported two novel compounds formed by H2tza and Nd(III) or Dy(III). ► Compounds 1 and 2 were found to have catalysis property for the photo-polymerization of styrene. ► The high molecular weight polymers with narrow molecular weight distributions were obtained.
