Phenolic derivatives from Baccharis retusa DC. (Asteraceae)

► Eight flavonoids and three chlorogenic acids were isolated from aerial parts of Baccharis retusa. ► Chemotaxonomic evidences on Baccharis genus were described. ► The phytochemistry of B. retusa is similar to that of other members of this genus.
