Synthesis of Leonosides E and F derived from Leonurus japonicas Houtt

- Two natural phenylethanoid glycosides were totally synthesized by a highly convergent and efficient strategy.
- Trisaccharyl trichloroacetimidates were prepared as transglycosylation donors.
- Silver triflate-promoted transglycosylation reaction successfully furnished the fully protected phenylethanoid glycosides.
