Synthesis and X-ray crystallographic investigation of N-(β-d-glycosyl)butanamides derived from GlcNAc and chitobiose as analogs of the conserved chitobiosylasparagine linkage of N-glycoproteins

- Glycosidic torsions are influenced by C2-NHAc group as well as molecular packing.
- In monosaccharides C2-NHAc group is controlling the N-glycosidic torsion values.
- In disaccharide molecular packing is controlling the N-glycosidic torsion values.
