Diffraction of cylindrical sound waves by an elastic sphere with an inhomogeneous coating

An analytical solution of the problem of the diffraction of cylindrical sound waves by a homogeneous elastic sphere with a radially-inhomogeneous coating is obtained. The results of the calculations are presented in the form of the radiation patterns of the scattered field.
