Morphology, structure and composition of precipitates in Al0.3CoCrCu0.5FeNi high-entropy alloy

► The precipitates in Al0.3CoCrCu0.5FeNi were thoroughly studied. ► Plate-like and spherical precipitates are identified. ► Separation into a Cu-rich phase and a (Ni, Cu)3Al phase were found in the plates. ► The formation process of such microstructure is proposed.
