Synthesis of carbon nanotube/Ni nanocomposite film by electrophoresis and electroless deposition without Pd pretreatment

► Carbon nanotube/Ni nanocomposite film was fabricated. ► Pd treatment is replaced by NiSO4·6H2O addition to electrophoretic deposition bath. ► The nanocomposite films exhibited electric double-layer capacity. ► The nanocomposite films also had decoloration activity of methyl orange solution.
