Lymphatic metabolites of quercetin after intestinal administration of quercetin-3-glucoside and its aglycone in rats

These results indicate that the absorbed Q3G is partly transported into the intestinal lymph as quercetin metabolites. Deglycosylation in the enterocyte is also suggested to affect the subsequent metabolic pathways.
