Aplicación de la terapia robótica para la función motora de la mano del adulto con hemiplejía. Revisión sistemática y metanálisis

A systematic review is presented on the efficiency of robotic therapy for the motor function of the hands of adults with hemiplegia. A systematic search of scientific literature was carried out in PubMed, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials - CENTRAL, LILACS, Scielo, virtual libraries, ScienceDirect, Proquest, Springerlink, Biomed Central, Occupational Therapy Systematic Evaluation of Evidence (OTseeker), Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), from January to December of 2015. The analytical review was performed in accordance with the quality standards established for reporting experimental studies using the Consolidated standards of reporting trials group (CONSORT 2010) strategy, and methodological quality was assessed using the Jadad scale. There was heterogeneity in the studies and in the type of participants, the time of treatment varied between 4 and 12 weeks and the number of participants was between 11 and 99. The robotic therapy showed to be effective in the motor function of the hand, although there are no studies that show statistical significance in relation to conventional therapy, or exclusive practices in the use of robotics in neurorehabilitation.
