Infections cutanées à staphylocoque et streptocoque chez l'enfant

Streptococcal and staphylococcal skin infections are very common in pediatric patients. They are most often benign, resolving with local care. Severe forms can have a local or even general prognosis for the child. Their clinical polymorphism makes their diagnosis sometimes difficult. This article reviews principal pediatric skin infections (folliculitis, impetigo, dermohypodermitis, etc.) and toxin diseases (staphylococcal scalded-skin syndrome, toxin shocks, etc.) in their clinical aspects and management.
