Une méthode de recrutement rigoureuse pour l'admission en écoles professionnelles

The recruitment methods are seldom validated. The data processing cost reduction allows considering the computer as a possible unique mean of pre-selection. At the request of vocational schools in Geneva, one of the authors (Ch. Mottier) developed a measurement of the aptitudes using psycho-technical tests, which was computerized for the last 12 years. A study on 550 subjects confirmed its capacity to forecast success during the studies and vocational efficiency. In 2008 was added a graphical test using a numerical pen and a software (“ELIAN”; Ph. Wallon, M. Jobert) measuring the dynamic characters of the drawings (RCF-A, writing) and giving information on the attitudes. This test appeared correlated with the previous tests and allowed a good prediction of the final recruitment.
