Histoire d'en parler. Quelques éléments de réflexions un an après la mise en place de groupes de fratries endeuillées

The regional network for palliative and anti-pain care of pediatric patients and the Midi-Pyrénées University Hospital psychiatric unit for children and adolescents developed an accompanying protocol composed of discussion groups for children who have lost a brother or sister. We describe here the obstacles encountered when developing this research project in pediatric palliative care and the specificities of sibling mourning. The discussion groups and a few preliminary thoughts are reported after one year's operation.
