Synthesis, spectroscopic studies, DFT calculations, cytotoxicity and antimicrobial activity of some metal complexes with ofloxacin and 2,2′-bipyridine

A new series of Zn(II), Zr(IV), Ce(III), Th(IV) and U(VI) metal complexes derived from ofloxacin and 2,2′-bipyridine have been synthesized and characterized. The chemical formulas, structures, antimicrobial and antitumor behavior as well as DFT were investigated.251
