► Amorphous nanoparticle complex (nanoplex) of sparingly soluble drug. ► Prepared by sustainable self-assembly drug-polyelectrolyte complexation process. ► Spherical nanoplex with 80% drug loading, >80% complexation efficiency and yield. ► Twice higher dissolution rate and solubility, stable in storage. ► Promising bioavailability-enhanced formulation of poorly soluble drugs.
