Integrated generation of solid fuel and biogas from green cut material from landscape conservation and private households

► Green cut as an input material for energy recovery was investigated. ► Shrub content in the raw material affected mass flow of plant compounds. ► IFBB improved solid fuel quality and reduced concentrations of mineral elements. ► Energy balances were calculated for the IFBB process and direct combustion. ► The IFBB process showed higher net energy yields.
