Effect of crosslinker and nanoclay on starch and jute fabric based green nanocomposites

► Incorporation of glutaraldehyde to starch-jute composite improves dimensional stability as well as mechanical and thermal properties. ► The addition of nanoclay further enhances the physiochemical properties. ► Nanoclay added composite shows better flame retardant property compared to clay unloaded composite.
