Role of soluble epoxide hydrolase phosphatase activity in the metabolism of lysophosphatidic acids

► Lysophosphatidic acids (LPA) are excellent substrates for sEH phosphatase activity. ► sEH phosphatase represents a significant part of LPA cellular hydrolysis. ► Due to artefactual inhibition, sEH activity on LPA was previously unaccounted for. ► LPA hydrolysis explains biology associated previously with sEH phosphatase.
