Investigation of liquid-liquid transition process in atactic polystyrene by means of thermally stimulated depolarization current

► The liquid-liquid transition of atactic polystyrene is investigated by means of TSDC. ► Relaxation time follows Vogel-Fulcher equation below liquid-liquid transition temperature. ► Relaxation time accords with Arrhenius equation above liquid-liquid transition temperature. ► Movement of molecular chain changes from restricted to free with increasing temperature.
