Microwave spectral studies of 2,4-difluorobenzaldehyde: O-trans conformer

► The ground state microwave rotational spectrum of 2,4-difluorobenzaldehyde was measured and analyzed. ► O-trans conformer was found to be predominant in the gas phase. ► Detailed DFT calculations were performed to evaluate spectroscopic constants and structural parameters.
