MnOx/SWCNT macro-films as flexible binder-free anodes for high-performance Li-ion batteries

► Binder-free, free-standing hybrid MnOx/SWNT macro-films were synthesized at a low temperature. ► Intrinsically interconnected SWCNTs facilitate electrolyte penetration and ion diffusion. ► The hybrid MnOx/SWCNT anodes exhibit very stable capacity of ∼1000 mAh g−1 in Li-ion batteries.
