Preparation and characterization of high-refractive-index polymer/inorganic hybrid films containing TiO2 nanoparticles prepared by 4-aminobenzoic acid

► 10.5-nm anatase TiO2 NPs were synthesized by using 4-aminobenzoic acid. ► Chelating behaviors of 4-aminobenzoic acid to TiO2 nanoparticles were evaluated. ► Increase of refractive index of the hybrid film reaches to 0.044 at 80% NP content.
