Cationic arylphosphines bearing a η6-coordinated (η5-Cp)Fe+ moiety were synthesized via a nucleophilic aromatic substitution reaction. Such ligands open up the access to bimetallic complexes, and allow studying cooperative effects between the metal sites.125
