Controlled synthesis of novel rod-like Cu1.81S nanostructures and field emission properties

- Cubic and tetragonal CuxS (x = 1.81, 2) nanostructures were synthesized.
- Ethanol and CTAB play important roles in forming these nanostructures.
- Field emission measurement showed good FE properties of Cu1.81S nanostructures.
