Enhanced photoelectric property and visible activity of nitrogen doped TiO2 synthesized from different nitrogen dopants

► N-TiO2 photocatalysts have been synthesized from different nitrogen dopants. ► Different N dopants could result in different surface state and light absorption. ► N(NH3)-TiO2 exhibited higher photocatalytic activity than that of others. ► The relationships between photoelectric property and visible activity were discussed.
