The growth and photocatalytic property of ZnO nanofibers synthesized by atom layer deposition using PVP nanofibers as templates

► PVP nanofibers were synthesized by electrospinning and used as templates. ► ZnO nanofibers were synthesized on PVP by ALD method. ► By annealing treatment, the different morphologies of ZnO nanofibers could be formed. ► ZnO nanofibers show higher photocatalytic activity due to more surface-to-volume ratio.
