(2+1)REMPI on molecular nitrogen through the 1Σg+ (II)-state

A (2+1)REMPI spectrum in pure nitrogen by an ArF excimer laser at 193 nm has been assigned to rotational structure in a high vibrational state of the double a″1Σg+-1Σg+(II) well, where intensity borrowing from the a″1Σg+ well by the 1Σg+(II) well takes place.
