Microscale polarity in polymer films probed by fluorescence of a benzanthrone derivative on ensemble and single-molecule level

Fluorescence lifetime of a benzanthrone derivative was used to characterize physical properties of polymer films on the scales of few hundreds of nm as well as on molecular scales.
