Vibrational state-selectivity of product HI in photoassociation reaction I + H → HI

In photoassociation reaction induced by laser pulse, the two collision atoms with initial momentum can combine into a molecule. The purpose of this Letter is to demonstrate the effect of the initial momentum on the pulse laser parameters and vibrational state-selective population of the product molecule.
