The effects of the system parameters on the stable-state probability density and mean first-passage time (MFPT) are investigated for a tristable system, driven by non-correlated additive and multiplicative non-Gaussian noise sources. The expression of the stable state probability density function (PDF) and MFPT of the system is derived. The results show that the intensity of multiplicative and additive noise sources cannot give rise to noise-induced transitions on the tristable system. The effects of the system parameter b on MFPT are investigated in two directions. In addition, in the behavior of the MFPT, we observe the noise enhanced stability (NES) and resonant activation (RA) of the tristable system induced by non-correlated addictive and multiplicative non-Gaussian noise.
