Micelle-like nanoparticles of block copolymer poly(ethylene oxide)-block-poly(methacrylic acid) incorporating fluorescently substituted metallacarboranes designed as HIV protease inhibitor interaction probes

Fluorescein-metallacarborane conjugates interact with a PEO containing double-hydrophilic block copolymer and micelle-like nanoparticles form as a result. The micellar cores contain the PEO blocks with embedded metallacarboranes - potent inhibitors of HIV protease.
