Extreme diversity of decapod crustaceans from the mid-Cretaceous (late Albian) of Spain: Implications for Cretaceous decapod paleoecology

► Thirteen Cretaceous decapod crustaceans are described from the Albian of Spain. ► Eight out of thirteen species are new from these coral associated limestones. ► Thirty-six species and twenty-six genera are now known from the Koskobilo quarry. ► Koskobilo is the richest known decapod locality for the Cretaceous. ► Cretaceous, decapod-rich localities and formations are often associated with corals.
