A simplified method for inorganic selenium and selenoaminoacids speciation based on HPLC-TR-HG-AFS

► Selenium speciation is achieved by a simplified HLPC-TR-HG-AFS coupling. ► Thermoreduction (TR) consists of heating at 150 °C+KBr+6 M HCl. ► This new method does not require ultraviolet radiation. ► It allows the determination of selenite, selenate and selenoaminoacids.
