Visible-light-mediated radical difluoromethylenephosphonation of 2-isocyanobiaryls with bromodifluoromethylphosphonate for the synthesis of 6-difluoromethylenephosphonyl-phenanthridines

Highly efficient approach to obtain 6-difluoromethylenephosphonyl-phenanthridine derivatives has been realized through visible-light-promoted difluoromethylenephosphonation of 2-isocyanobiaryls with bromodifluoromethylphosphonate.
