Triphenylphosphanodefluorination of fluoranil and its derivatives

- Reactions of fluorinated 1,4-benzoquinones with PPh3 in various solvents were studied.
- Quinones with PPh3 made products of phosphanodefluorination and reduce.
- There is an increase of phosphorus containing products with growth of solvent polarity.
- The modification of primary products by the reaction with anilines was demonstrated.
