A solvent-directed coordination polymer based on Co(II) and 3,5-bis(4-carboxyphenyl)pyridine: Synthesis, structure, photoluminescence, and magnetism

A three-dimensional linear trinuclear Co(II) cluster-based coordination polymer has been successfully constructed under solvothermal condition. The coordination polymer can be considered as a bifunctional material combining photoluminescent and magnetic properties.203
