C/SiC/Si-Mo-B/glass multilayer oxidation protective coating for carbon/carbon composites

►A self-sealing oxidation protective multilayer coating was prepared on C/C composites. ►The coating could provide effective protection for C/C from room temperature to 1873 K. ►The coating could endure 40 thermal cycles between 1873 K and room temperature. ►Good oxidation resistance resulted from the gradient structure and self-sealing property.
