CeO2-TiO2 mixed oxide incorporated high performance hot dip zinc coating

►The role of CeO2-TiO2 on the improvement of hot dip zinc coatings was investigated. ►An efficient galvanic coating with high corrosion resistance was achieved. ►Interior layers of the mixed oxide incorporated coatings exhibited greater stability. ►The coatings had high barrier protection.
