Directives anticipées et personne de confiance en établissement d'hébergement pour personnes âgées dépendantes : analyse des entretiens de personnels soignants et administratifs

We present in this study the positions of the teams about advance medical directives and personhood. It appears from the investigations that the Leonetti law is often misunderstood or unknown in most of these institutions. The dying days of residents were not easy to support in these nursing homes due to the lack of anticipation. There are also real problems to deal with the resident and family on the topic of advance directives and trustworthy person. Face to these results, many teams ask us for more information and trainings on these topics.
