Antifungal nortriterpene and triterpene glycosides from the sea cucumber Apostichopus japonicus Selenka

► Five glycosides were identified together with three known analogues from the sea cucumber Apostichopus japonicus. ► This is the first report of a nortriterpene glycoside from sea cucumber. ► The isolates showed potent antifungal activities. ► Structure-activity relationship and chemical diversity are discussed.
