Selective extraction, structural characterisation and antifungal activity assessment of napins from an industrial rapeseed meal

► Simple and fast selective extraction of napins from an industrial rapeseed meal. ► Size exclusion chromatography purification step of the liquid extract is easy to scale up. ► DSC, CD and fluorescence studies revealed a preserved structure of napins from the extraction/purification process. ► A significant antifungal activity on Fusarium langsethiae is observed.
