Development of competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays for boscalid determination in fruit juices

► We describe the novel synthesis of a boscalid functionalized derivative. ► The first high-affinity and specific antibodies to boscalid are presented. ► Optimised competitive ELISAs are described in two different formats. ► Boscalid could be sensitively measured in grape, peach, apple, and tomato juices.
