In vivo protective effects of quercetin against sodium fluoride-induced oxidative stress in the hepatic tissue

► The pretreatment with quercetin and with vitamin C before NaF administration prevented liver injury. ► Pretreatment with quercetin leads to a significant revival of the oxidative status. ► Antioxidant activity of quercetin played an important protective role in rat's liver.
