A new layered indium selenium oxychloride material: Synthesis, structure, and characterization of InSeO3Cl

The edge-sharing InO4Cl2 octahedral chains and SeO3 groups are linking to form a layered structure of InSeO3Cl. Note the SeO3 groups serve as inter-chain linkers (blue, In; green, Se; red, O; cyan, Cl).
