Synthesis and application of biocompatible nontoxic nanoparticles for reclamation of Ce3+ from synthetic wastewater: Toxicity assessment, kinetic, isotherm and thermodynamic study

Forsterite nanoparticles were used for Ce3+ ions reclamation. Removal of Ce3+ ions followed pseudo second order kinetic model. The sticking probability of Ce3+ ion is very high for forsterite nanoparticles. Bioluminescent test showed decreased toxicity in FRST treated Ce3+ solution.260
