Sentimiento del inversor, selecciones nacionales de fútbol y su influencia sobre sus índices nacionales

ResumenLa toma de decisiones del inversor suele estar basada en un análisis previo, aunque su estado de ánimo puede estar afectado por múltiples motivos. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar si el efecto de los resultados deportivos de las selecciones de fútbol nacionales influye en la evolución de sus índices bursátiles nacionales. Para ello se ha realizado un análisis estadístico de las sesiones bursátiles siguientes a un partido de fútbol del equipo nacional, medida su rentabilidad a través de la tasa de variación de la sesión y tasa de variación intradía, con la particularidad de que el equipo haya ganado un mundial de fútbol.

Investor decision-making is often based on a previous analysis, but their mood can be affected by many reasons. The aim of this paper is to analyze if the effect of the results of the national soccer teams influences the outcome of their national stock indexes. This is a statistical analysis of the trading sessions following a football match of the national team. Their profitability is measured through the variation rate of the session and intraday variation rate. This national football team has won a World Cup.
