												An Eulerian phase-space discretized Vlasov-Poisson simulation code that incorporates filamentation filtration is introduced. The code is based on the flux-balance method, which is extended to include the filtration. A novel method for removing a localized numerical instability at the velocity boundaries is introduced and it is shown that the code is otherwise stable for a limited but effective range of filamentation filter widths. It is demonstrated that filamentation filtration does not remove the recurrence problem; recurrence does arise in the absence of filamentation. Simulations of one-dimensional, electrostatic Landau damping, and two-stream instability are presented. For these simulations, favorable comparisons with the results of a well-established Fourier-Fourier transformed spectral code are discussed.
