Out-scaling electrohydrodynamic atomization systems for the production of well-defined droplets

► We developed and tested the performance of a multi-EHDA system. ► Its performance was tested both in constant flow and constant head operating modes. ► The system produces monodisperse micron-sized droplets in both operating modes. ► Measurements agree well with predictions for the constant-flow operating mode. ► A semi-empirical model has been derived for the constant-head operating mode.
